Cate Nease

Cate Nease joined Roman & Gaynor in 2004. She has more than 25 years of experience as a paralegal. She has specialized in tort law in the areas of personal injury, medical negligence, and chemical exposure. Cate's previous legal work included real estate law, corporate law, office management, and working for the Florida House of Representatives. Her knowledge and abilities encompass case management from the initial contact with a firm client through trial and presently focuses on the firm's cases that are in litigation. She has attended continuing education seminars and is a certified legal assistant and Florida Registered Paralegal. Cate has the experience, compassion, and attention to detail that this firm values. She lives with her husband, Dave, in Largo and has two wonderful daughters attending the University of Florida.

Carol-Lynn Roman

Carol-Lynn Roman is a native Floridian who has lived in Pinellas County her entire life. She graduated from Dunedin High School in 1991. She attended Stetson University in Deland on academic and service organization scholarships and graduated from The University of South Florida in 1995 with a degree in Mass Communications. She also received a minor degree in Political Science. Carol-Lynn began working in the legal field as early as high school and continued in the field throughout her education. She utilized her education in gaining management positions in Bay Area law firms and has been the Firm Administrator of Roman & Gaynor since its inception. Carol-Lynn is also a Florida Registered Paralegal.

Carol-Lynn has extensive training and experience in litigation support and, in particular, the jury selection process. When she is not assisting in trial, Carol-Lynn handles all aspects of the firm management including marketing and client relations.

Carol-Lynn is a recent graduate of the prestigious Leadership Pinellas program. She was on the Board of Directors of the Homeless Emergency Project for three years and has held leadership roles with the foundations of Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital and Morton Plant Mease Hospital.

Carol-Lynn has 2 daughters and resides in Clearwater with her husband of 10 years.

Sara Keimig

Sara is a native of Pinellas County. She is a graduate of the University of South Florida where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Speech, Language and Hearing. She volunteers at local schools working with children with varying exceptionalities. She is also an avid runner.

Sara has been a receptionist and legal assistant with the firm since 2009. Sara excels in interacting with and assisting the firm's clients. Sara is the first person you will meet at Roman & Gaynor and an invaluable member of our team.

Lindsey Weinberg

While still attending Countryside High School in 2001, Lindsey began her career as a legal secretary in a Personal Injury firm. In 2006, she graduated from the University of Central Florida with her bachelor's degree in English - Creative Writing. She has lived in both England and Australia.

Lindsey is responsible for guiding our new clients through the beginning stages of their cases. This firm values her compassion, attention to detail, and communication skills. She also contributes to the firm's weekly blog involving changes in Florida laws and other current legal issues affecting our community.

Laura Mouser

Laura Mouser has just under ten years’ experience as a legal assistant. She has acquired degrees in Human Services and Legal Assisting and recently completed the University of Central Florida Accredited Claims Adjuster Designated Pre-Licensing Course. Her legal work experience includes personal injury and real estate transactions. Her personal injury knowledge spans from the initial contact with the client through trial.
