Morgan Gaynor, a partner at Roman & Gaynor, has just joined the Pasco County Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee. Morgan is now a voting member of this committee oriented toward addressing bicyclist and pedestrian safety issues in Pasco County.
The Pasco County Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee sits under the umbrella of the Pasco County metropolitan planning organization (MPO). Members of the committee weigh in on issues that affect pedestrians and bicyclists, such as trails, road design, traffic delineators, signs, and more. Morgan will serve on this committee until January 2015 when his term is complete.
BPAC's periodic meetings focus on addressing highway safety issues and coming up with recommendations to give the MPO, who would then implement the changes.
According to Morgan, "I hope to use my experience as an accident attorney, and a cyclist who uses Pasco Country trails regularly, to help BPAC make decisions which will further its goals."
